The Portugal international has been struggling with an ankle injury this week - but is named in Los Blancos' starting XI this evening - as they look to continue their good form
Jose Mourinho welcomes Sergio Ramos, Fabio Coentrao and Angel Di Maria back to his line-up for Real Madrid's Liga clash against Granada after all three were suspended for Wednesday's 1-1 Copa del Rey draw with Barcelona, while Cristiano Ronaldo has shrugged off an ankle injury to also start.
Recent signing Diego Lopez continues in goal in the absence of the injured Iker Casillas and Luka Modric replaces Mesut Ozil in midfield after the Germany international picked up a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards.
New Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz makes a few changes to the side that were beaten 3-0 by Sevilla in their last Liga outing, as the former Castilla forward Carlos Aranda starts up front alongside Odion Ighalo, the striker on loan from Udinese.
The club's recent loan acquisition from Benfica, Nolito, is named in midfield, while Inigo Lopez replaces the suspended Pape Diakhate at centre-back.
Despite returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty, Morocco international Youssef El-Arabi does not make Alcaraz's starting XI.
