Dumbarton will include new permanent signing Mark Lamont in their side for the home game against Hamilton.

The Sons, still bottom of the table despite winning won four of their last five matches, will include winger Lamont for the first time since January 2.

Pat Walker remains sidelined due to an ankle injury and player/boss Ian Murray remains unavailable due to a groin problem, but James Creaney is included after overcoming an ankle knock.

Murray said: "We are doing well just now, as are Hamilton, so this will be a real test. We played them in my first game just over a month ago and we were out of things by half-time.

"This game will show what improvement we have made during since then."

Hamilton skipper Alex Neil sits out the second game of a three-match ban.

The New Douglas Park side are also without Jon McShane and Kieran Millar through respective knee injuries as they look for the win that will pull them further away from trouble at the foot of the table.

Manager Billy Reid, who wants his men to extend their five-game unbeaten run, said: "We've looked like a very solid side in recent weeks and all I can ask from the players is that they keep doing what they have been doing.

"We won at Dumbarton in the cup last month, but that counts for nothing as they have improved a lot since then."
