JAVIER HERNANDEZ insists no team is ever safe leading Manchester United.

United host West Ham tonight in a third-round FA Cup replay having snatched a draw with a last-gasp Robin van Persie equaliser at Upton Park.

It was once again proof of the team’s never-say-die spirit which has propelled them seven points clear at the top of the Prem.

United have won eight league games in which they have trailed this season.

And ‘Little Pea’ Hernandez said: “It’s the mentality of this club that you never give up — because you always have time to make a difference.

“If we are losing 2-0 or even 3-0, in your mind you think ‘If we get one, we’ll get two and it we get two, we can get a third’.

“It’s about belief. It’s in our history and the gaffer always tells us: Never give up, always fight until the end.

“I love that about us. You may prefer to win 2-0, but the atmosphere in late victories is incredible.”

Hernandez, 24, proved RVP does not have the copyright on last-gasp goals by grabbing the winner in the amazing 4-3 Boxing Day win over Newcastle.

The little Mexican is United’s second-top scorer with 12 — Van Persie has 21 — while Wayne Rooney’s tally is eight.

Hernandez is set to link up with fit-again Rooney, back from a knee injury, against the Hammers tonight.

He added: “Every striker and every player has something they bring to the team, but Robin and Wazza are complete players.

“The reason they are so good is because they do everything so well — touch, movement, passing, finishing.”

Hernandez is even dreaming of a Treble. He said: “The most important thing is we are seven points in front in the league and through to the Champions League knockout stages, because last season we didn’t do that.

“Like I said at the start of the season, my biggest dream here is to win the Treble.
“Some people might say it is impossible, but I think anything is possible here.”
