Giovinco aiming to punish Parma

Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco claims he will not hold anything back when he comes up against his former club Parma on Sunday.
The Bianconeri shelled out €11 million during the summer to bring Giovinco to the club from Parma, and their investment has thus far proved to be an astute one, with the 25-year-old having established himself as an integral part of the team, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 26 appearances for the Turin based club this season.
Despite the loss of Giovinco, I Crociati have managed to cope reasonably well, amassing a total of 29 points from 19 Serie A games so far and they currently lie 8th in the league table.
However, Roberto Donadoni's men will face one their biggest tests to date when they take on league leaders Juventus, who fell to a surprise defeat to Sampdoria last weekend, and Giovinco claims that although he still holds Parma in high regard, he will not take it easy against his former club.
"I owe Parma a great deal, they believed in me and re-launched my career," Giovinco told Mediaset.
"I know them well and they've become even more compact and harder to beat under Donadoni.
"However, we want to bounce back from the Sampdoria defeat and will do all we can to win."
Juventus, who are still fighting for honours on all fronts, will not have much time to rest in the following weeks, with fixtures coming thick and fast for the Bianconeri, but Giovinco insists his side can cope with the busy schedule ahead.
"We're getting to the most tricky part of the season, with many important games coming thick and fast," Giovinco added.
"This is also a good aspect, as it means we're still on track in every competition.
"We hope to keep making progress."
Giovinco was the difference in last season's corresponding fixture as the Italy international scored a sensational long range strike to help Parma beat Juventus.
