Hamilton have been boosted by the return to training of Ryan Finnie, Stephen Hendrie and James Keatings ahead of the visit of Cowdenbeath to New Douglas Park.

The trio are back in manager Billy Reid's squad to face the Blue Brazil, but respective knee injuries keep Jon McShane and Kieran Millar sidelined.

Reid, who has demanded his side be more clinical, said: "We are back to playing in the open and exciting way I want us to play, but we need to take our chances better than we have been.

"We have scored four times in our last two games, but it should have been more. We need to be more ruthless especially against a Cowdenbeath side that have strengthened with three new loan signings."

Cowdenbeath manager Colin Cameron will finalise his side after a fitness test on defender Kenny Adamson, who missed training earlier this week due to a foot injury.

The Blue Brazil have parted company with Spanish midfielder Ruben Garcia Rey and his countryman Pablo Navas will miss out against the Accies as he needs match practice following a hip injury.

Cameron's side defeated Hamilton in August and the Cowdenbeath player/manager said: "That game seems a very long time ago and both sides have altered their line-ups since then.

"We have been leading in our last four games and had to settle for four draws, so it would be nice to get ahead and see the game out."
