Livingston vs Raith Rovers preview - Cruel blow for Jacobs

I have a say

Livingston will be without Keaghan Jacobs for the home clash with Raith after the midfielder was ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Jacobs joins fellow knee victims Paul Watson and Jason Talbot on the sidelines.

The Lions' head coach Gareth Evans is predicting another fine football game in West Lothian, saying: "Our game with Partick Thistle last Saturday was a cracking game for the fans and a terrific advert for the First Division.

"I would reckon that our game with Raith Rovers could be the same as they like to play an attractive style of football as well.

"Grant Murray has done a terrific job at Stark's Park in a short time, but we want to get the win and move above them in the table."

Raith hope to have Eddie Malone available after the defender returned to training on Thursday night.

Malone had been suffering from an ankle injury sustained in last Saturday's 2-0 win over Airdrie and his availability gives manager Grant Murray a full squad to choose from.

Murray said: "It was great to win last week as you cannot beat the confidence picking up three points gives a team. We'd not been playing badly, but it was good to get a win after not winning in a wee while.

"Livingston pushed Partick all the way last weekend in a 2-2 draw and the key to their performance was a really good start, so we have to be on our guard from the first whistle."
