SYLVIE van der Vaart has split up with her footballer husband Rafael after a furious bust-up.
The shock separation comes just days after the Dutch couple shared Christmas with their son, Damian, and tweeted a cute family snap.
And earlier today the former Spurs strike star apologised for his behaviour in the explosive row, as he arrived at a training camp in the Middle East.
He told German newspaper Bild: "It was very foolish of me. I’m an idiot. I’m very sorry. It should never have happened."
