Partick's stumbling form continued as the league leaders were held to a 1-1 draw at struggling Airdrie.
The hosts were beaten 7-0 in the last meeting between the two sides in October but began positively, Liam Watt testing Graeme Smith with a 20-yard strike.
Jackie McNamara's men began to get a foothold in the game, and came close to breaking the deadlock in the 30th minute when Aaron Muirhead's long-range effort hit the bar.
But it was Jimmy Boyle's men who went ahead four minutes before half-time.
Ryan Donnelly played in John Boyle and he provided a clinical left-footed strike.
The Jags piled on the pressure in the second half, with Steven Craig and Steven Lawless both going close to finding an equaliser.
The visitors eventually levelled the scores 11 minutes from time as Christopher Erskine found the top corner with a rasping drive from the edge of the area.
