Platt talks down Manchester City January transfer plans

Manchester City assistant manager David Platt has revealed that the club may not sign any players in the January transfer window.
Goal.com revealed on Thursday that the club's hierarchy have told manager Roberto Mancini that there will not be unlimited funds made available for transfers in the upcoming window.
And Platt has confirmed that moves are unlikely, telling reporters: "I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't do any business."
Malaga midfielder Isco and Atletico Madrid’s prolific frontman Radamel Falcao have been mentioned as possible targets for City.
However, it appears Mancini may have to work with his current squad as they look to chase down rivals United at the top of the Premier League.
