Blair Alston's 90th-minute winner saw Falkirk record a third consecutive league victory with a 1-0 win at Dunfermline.

Both sides had a man sent off before Alston's goal in the dying minutes consigned the Pars to only their second home defeat of the campaign.

Andrew Barrowman forced a save from Falkirk goalkeeper Michael McGovern with a 26th-minute header before Alston rattled the crossbar for the visitors.

Four minutes before the break the home side were down to 10 men as Jordan McMillan was sent off for violent conduct during a scuffle between the players.

Falkirk did not make the most of their advantage in the second period and had a man dismissed themselves with five minutes remaining as Kieran Duffie was shown a second yellow.

But with the game edging towards a draw, Alston forced the ball home from close range following Lyle Taylor's cutback to grab the three points for his side.
