Hamilton manager Billy Reid is again without the injured Stephen Hendrie, Jon McShane and Kieran Millar for the clash with Airdrie.

However, the Accies boss also has selection problems of the right kind following his side's impressive 3-1 Scottish Cup win over Dumbarton last Monday.

Jonathan Page returns after suspension and Steven May, who was not allowed to play by St Johnstone in the cup, is also available.

Reid said: "Good results breed confidence and we are seeing that just now as we played some great stuff at Dumbarton.

"I now have a few tough decisions to make about who starts against Airdrie and that is a good place to be. They will be out to make up for our 4-0 win at their place earlier in the season and we need to be ready for that."

Airdrie will let goalkeeper Grant Adam decide if he is ready to play after he missed Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Falkirk as he was attending the funeral of his father.

Nathan Blockley will miss out after being sent off against the Bairns and manager Jimmy Boyle has other concerns as Cameron MacDonald remains sidelined and Grant Evans, Gavin Griffin, Jack Boyle and Willie McLaren are all rated as injury doubts.

Boss Boyle said: "We have to pick ourselves up from the Falkirk game and concentrate on the positives. The actual game was closer than the scoreline would suggest as we created chances and lost two goals once we went down to 10 men.

"A win would lift us above Hamilton and that is a great target to aim for."
