QPR manager Harry Redknapp has ruled out making a move for Nicolas Anelka and believes the Frenchman would be too expensive for the Loftus Road club.
Anelka, 33, has been linked with a return to England as his time at Shanghai Shenhua has ended sourly and West Ham are said to be keen too.
Redknapp has also been credited with an interest in Newcastle striker Demba Ba, Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and West Ham's Mohamed Diame but he said: "These are all great players but we are not in any negotiations.
"Anelka is a fantastic player but I don't think we can afford him. We are not in any negotiations with him."
