LOFTY AMBITION ... Matt Duke
MATT DUKE insists Bradford can crank up the heat on Arsene Wenger — as long as they make it to penalties.
Phil Parkinson’s men will host Arsenal in front of their biggest home crowd for more than 50 years — with 23,000-plus expected for tonight’s quarter-final.
The League Two promotion-hopefuls beat Wigan on penalties in the last round — and keeper
Duke insists if the tie goes all the way, the smart money will be on the Bantams.
Duke saved from Jordi Gomez as Bradford shocked the Latics and the veteran keeper said: “We’re favourites if it goes to a shootout.
“I’ve always fancied myself saving them and as a keeper shootouts are a dream scenario because it’s a no-lose situation.
“You’re not expected to save them but given five to face in a shootout I’d expect to stop at least one. You can become a hero with just one save.
“The way the lads have been taking them we’re confident if it comes to that.”
