Real Mallorca midfielder Javi Marquez believes that he and his team-mates' desperation to get a long-awaited win has not helped their performances in recent weeks.

The Islanders are currently on an 11-game winless streak and failed to take advantage of playing against 10 men for 78 minutes last weekend as they drew 1-1 with Real Zaragoza.

Marquez thinks that the anxiety in their play is only leading to more errors.

He told Football-Espana: "A win would be very important for everyone. We really want to get those three points to give us peace and our work this week has been marked in trying to achieve that goal.

"You always have some anxiety because the team is the first to want to win and to give victory to the fans as soon as possible, right now we are impatient with our game, leading to mistakes and it is true that at times it shows.

"It will not be easy, but we will be at 300 per cent in order to achieve the victory that we and our fans both deserve."

Michael Pereira will miss the trip to Levante as he has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a muscle injury, but Giovani dos Santos is fit enough to take his place and Antonio Lopez could also return after more than two months out.

Despite Mallorca's poor form of late, though, Levante midfielder Miguel Pallardo has insisted they will be a difficult side to break down.

He told Marca: "We are facing a difficult match. Joaquin Caparros' teams are always very strong.

"Victor is scoring goals for them and defensively they play with a lot of intensity. It is very difficult to score against them."

Pallardo is expected to start as Pape Diop is suspended, as is Juanlu, so Michel should also come into the side.

Boss Juan Ignacio Martinez will also welcome back a number of his more experienced players after resting them for the 2-2 Europa League draw with Hannover in midweek.
