The Spanish midfielder has warned that the Catalan giants are making too many mistakes at the back and have been letting in completely avoidable goals recently
Andres Iniesta believes Barcelona will have to improve in defence if they are to have a successful campaign and challenge for major honours.
The Blaugrana midfielder was speaking after his team's 3-1 win at home against Real Zaragoza on Saturday evening and noted that there have been a number of mistakes at the back so far this season.
"Football is a game between two teams, and our opponents come to play. We need to correct our errors so we don’t concede as many goals, and this is completely achievable," the midfielder was quoted as saying by Sport.es.
"There were times when Zaragoza made us run, they wanted to have the ball and that wears you out. I think, thougt, that we played out a very complete game."
Iniesta also heaped praise on team mate Lionel Messi, who he believes is the reason why Barcelona are at the summit of La Liga with 11 wins out of 12 games.
"It's what we're used to. Leo makes a difference because he is a unique player. I hope his form and the team's continues."
