Dumbarton's interim boss Jack Ross will take the Sons for the fourth time when Morton arrive at the Bet Butler Stadium.

Ross can call on midfielder Garry Fleming who is now free of suspension.

Alan Lithgow and Ross Forsyth are injury doubts with the long-term injured Kevin Nicol and Pat Walker still on the sidelines.

Ross said: "I was delighted for the players that we won at Cowdenbeath last weekend as they have worked really hard for me in my time in charge.

"They will need to work hard again as Morton are a very good side who will want to get their league challenge going again after losing to Hamilton last weekend.

"Following up the Cowdenbeath success with a home win would be a great achievement."

Morton have added 11-goal striker Archie Campbell to the their list of absent players.

Campbell suffered a pelvic injury and joins Steven Stirling and Peter MacDonald in watching from the stands.

The Greenock side saw off Albion Rovers 3-0 in the Scottish Cup in midweek after altering their tactics to cope without Campbell and manager Allan Moore said: "We had to change our shape and play Peter Weatherson up on his own and supported by two wide men and it all clicked into place.

"The first goal settled us down and now we can build on that against Dumbarton.

"We lost to Hamilton in our last league game and there was a lot of disappointment around but one defeat in eight games is still a decent record."
