The Frenchman spent the past 10 days on the sidelines due to injury, but is ready to make his comeback at the weekend against Athletic Bilbao
Jose Mourinho has received some encouraging news on the injury front ahead of Real Madrid's league match at home against Athletic Bilbao as Karim Benzema has resumed regular training again after a spell on the sidelines.
The France international picked up a knock after los Blancos' win over Real Zaragoza nearly two weeks ago, and consequently missed their Champions League draw against Borussia Dortmund and a hard-fought win at Levante.
Nevertheless, Benzema could make his comeback against Bilbao on Saturday after completing Wednesday's regular training session without any noteworthy problems.
The French forward's imminent return will be a big boost for Mourinho, who is still without Argentine stiker Gonzalo Higuain due to injury.
The former Olympique Lyonnais star has scored five goals in 15 official appearances for Madrid so far this term.
