ZLAT'LL COST YOU ... England striker Welbeck gets his hands on Swede Ibrahimovic's £30k-rated shirt
DANNY WELBECK hit a £30,000 jackpot after grabbing Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shirt.
The Manchester United ace got the Swedish star’s top following his stunning four-goal haul against England.
Ibra’s sensational bicycle kick means the shirt could fetch £30,000 if it was ever put up for auction.....
Tom Rollett of Exclusive Memorabilia said: “Welbeck’s sitting on a small fortune.
“The shirt is of great interest to collectors because of the spectacular goal, the person wearing it and the fact the goal was against England and in a brand new stadium.
“If it went to auction now while people are still talking about it, the top could get up to £30,000.”
Welbeck got the shirt only after Ryan Shawcross, Joe Hart and Jack Wilshere passed up the opportunity while shaking hands with the PSG star.
West Brom’s Swedish defender Jonas Olsson also has Ibrahimovic’s boots from Wednesday night, and is putting them up for grabs to raise money for a premature births’ charity.
But Welbeck’s Ibrahimovic shirt will never be worth as much as the one worn by Diego
Maradona in the 1986 World Cup “Hand of God” match with England.
It’s owned by ex-Spurs and Aston Villa star Steve Hodge and is currently on display at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
Hodge, who got the shirt off the Argy star at the end of the match, said: “I don’t think Ibrahimovic’s shirt will be as prized as Maradona’s.
