Stenhousemuir captain Ross McMillan is back for the game against Ayr after completing a three-game ban, but Brown Ferguson drops out through suspension.

The Warriors have added Hearts youngster Brad McKay on loan and he looks set to make his debut as Scott Buist remains sidelined with a groin injury and Eric Paton is doubtful.

Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "With other teams not playing we have the chance to move up a few places at the top of the table and it would be great to do that.

"Ayr have improved over recent weeks so this will be a tough encounter, however having our skipper back will help us as we have missed him at the back in recent weeks."

It is a case of two in and five out for Ayr at Ochilview.

Loan signings Kyle McAusland and Darian MacKinnon return after not being allowed to play in the Scottish Cup last weekend.

But John Robertson, Martyn Campbell, Anthony Marenghi, David Sinclair and Michael McGowan have all been ruled out with injury.

Boss Mark Roberts is determined to win, saying: "Ochilview has never been a great ground for us in recent years so it would be great to put that right with a win in this game.

"They are a strong team but a win would lift us over them in the table.

"That would be a great turnaround when you consider the poor start to the season that we made."
