It's not the first time David has toyed with the role of film star - he recently shot an ad for clothing giant H&M with movie director Guy Ritchie at the helm.

And he has just signed on to play a guest role in Matthew Perry's new show - in which the former Friends actor plays a sports broadcaster coming to terms with the death of his wife.
