Airdrie welcome back striker Scott Sally from a two-game suspension as they host Livingston in the Scottish Football League's first foray into Friday night football this season.

The Diamonds can also call on the fit again Cameron MacDonald, David Lilley and Sean Lynch as they look to repeat their 2-0 success over the Lions from August.

The Diamonds have bounced back from their recent 7-0 mauling from Partick to defeat Dumbarton and draw with Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup and manager Jimmy Boyle said: "Having 4 players available again is a boost. It is only a small unbeaten run but it is a start and the players worked hard to get those results.

"They will need to work hard again to stop Livingston passing the ball around us for fun."

Livingston's Scotland Under-21 midfielder Stefan Scougall is a major doubt for his side's trip after picking up a knee injury in the Lions' last outing against Morton.

Jason Talbot and Paul Watson remain on the sidelines through long-term injuries and if Scougall fails to make it there could be a recall for Kevin McCann, who is available after a ban.

West Lothian manager John Hughes said: "We have been inconsistent this season and one of our disappointing results was a home defeat from Airdrie so it would be good to make up for that.

"If we can get our passing game established quickly and keep it going we can win this game although it will be difficult as Airdrie will fight for everything."
