Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is expecting a "tough" match against Norwich City when the two sides meet in their Capital One Cup fourth-round clash at Carrow Road.
Norwich struggled for results under new boss Chris Hughton at the start of the season but grabbed its first Premier League win with a 1-0 defeat of Arsenal on Oct. 20, followed by a 1-1 draw away to Aston Villa seven days later.
Spurs themselves have been in excellent recent form - winning five of their last six league matches - and Defoe is hoping they can overcome former Spurs assistant coach Hughton’s side.
“It’s another hard game, they had a fantastic result against Arsenal," the striker told the club's official site. “I’m sure Chrissie was delighted with that performance and to beat Arsenal, not many teams do that.
“I can imagine they are buzzing after a win like that. It’s another away game for us, another tough game and another must-win game. We’re looking forward to it.”
Andre Villas-Boas’ side heads into the game fresh from beating Southampton 2-1 thanks to goals from Clint Dempsey and former Saints player Gareth Bale.
