Kevin-Prince Boateng's poor form is not my responsibility, says girlfriend

The midfielder's other half has dismissed suggestions that their relationship is having a negative impact on the Ghanaian's performances

Kevin-Prince Boateng's girlfriend, Melissa Satta, has stated she is shouldering none of the blame for the AC Milan player's current lack of form.

The 25-year-old has disappointed since the start of the season, eventually resulting in speculation as to whether the player is being distracted by off the field activities.

“I’m not the problem for Boateng. I am a normal girlfriend and he will regain his form soon. I have always supported him and AC Milan,” the 26-year-old Italian model told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I saw and I read the Gazzetta dello Sport’s report on Boateng’s form but it is not my fault.”

Milan sit in 11th spot in the Serie A table and are currently preparing for their trip to Palermo on Tuesday.
