Ben Davies earns £249,600 less than Yaya every week!

BEN DAVIES will take on the multi-millionaires of Manchester City today, earning a basic wage of just £400 a week.
Swansea’s Welsh international full-back would need more than 10 years to match what City’s £240,000-a-week star Yaya Toure pockets every seven days.
Davies, 19, is probably the lowest paid player in the Premier League, making around £5,000-a-year less than the average national income.
But level-headed Davies was not even certain that he was going to be kept on at the Liberty Stadium when last season ended.
He admitted: “I was only expecting a year’s contract if I was to get an extension.
“But when I found out I was getting two years I was over the moon.”
And when the Neath-born local boy — who had been a Swans season-ticket holder with his dad — signed his new deal he could never have believed what the future had in store.
Yes, he had won the Welsh Youth Cup and been a regular in the reserves.
But playing for the first-team in the Premier League was still a dream.
However, an horrific injury to Neil Taylor gave Davies his big chance.
Taylor suffered multiple fractures to his ankle during a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on September 1.
Swans boss Michael Laudrup duly went out and signed free agent Dwight Tiendalli — who had just left FC Twente.
And it was widely assumed that the experienced Dutchman would go straight into the team.
Instead a determined Davies kept his place, has not missed a minute of Premier League action since coming on against Sunderland and has gone on to take Taylor’s spot in the Wales senior side.
He has been capped twice, including playing his part in the memorable World Cup qualifying win over Scotland on his debut.
