Livingston 2 : 2 Greenock Morton - Russell and Campbell at the double
Posted Saturday, October 27, 2012 by PA
Braces from Iain Russell and Archibald Campbell ensured Livingston and Morton shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
Russell gave the home side an early lead as he received Marc McNulty's pass 12 yards out and drilled an effort into the top right corner.
Campbell equalised five minutes into the second half with a close-range finish from Peter Weatherson's ball from the left.
The Morton striker grabbed his second five minutes later to put his side ahead, controlling David O'Brien's pass on the left before cutting inside onto his right foot and hitting a low drive into the near corner.
But Michael Tidser's foul on McNulty 11 minutes from time allowed Russell to score his second with a low penalty into the bottom left corner.
