Allan Walker scored the only goal of the game as Raith ended their four-match winless streak with a 1-0 victory at Hamilton.

Walker volleyed home from close range on the stroke of half-time to secure the points for the visitors.

Steven May fired wide in the 38th minute with Hamilton's best chance of the half, while Raith missed an excellent chance to take the lead when Brian Graham failed to make a proper connection from Walker's 42nd-minute corner.

Walker put his side ahead before the break, volleying into the roof of the net from close range after good work from Greig Spence.

Andrew Ryan went close to a second-half equaliser but his curling effort from the left side of the box narrowly missed the target as Raith held on for the points.
