Alloa will include on-loan Aberdeen youngster Mitchel Megginson against visiting Albion after traffic problems saw the striker miss the 1-0 win over Ayr last Saturday.

Captain Darren Young is struggling after going down with an illness while manager Paul Hartley has told his troops to expect a tough challenge from the Coatbridge side.

Hartley said: "We caught them cold earlier in the season when their new-look team was gelling and won 3-0 at their place. They have undoubtedly improved and any team that defeats Arbroath 4-0 is worthy of your full respect.

"We are playing well just now and have got ourselves into a decent position in the league so I am looking for that to continue."

Albion are boosted by the return from suspension of Barry Russell and Peter Innes, who missed the 4-0 win over Arbroath last Saturday.

Only defender Kevin Green, who has a stomach injury, is unavailable to boss Todd Lumsden, who reckons the game will allow him to measure the progress his side have made this season.

Lumsden said: "We played Alloa earlier in the season at our place and it was a terrible game for us as they won 3-0 very easily. They have good players who can pass the ball around you and we were very poor that day.

"I reckon we have improved since then and we will be able to gauge how far we have improved at Recreation Park."
