Casillas 'honoured' to receive Prince of Asturias Award

The Real Madrid goalkeeper has been nominated as a joint candidate for the gong and is set to attend a ceremony at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo on Friday
Spain international Iker Casillas has spoken of his pride in receiving the Prince of Asturias Award alongside Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez.
The prize recognises inidivuals and organisations from around the world who make notable achievements, and both football stars are being rewarded this year for their incredible contributions to the sporting world.
"There is a bright career that I can boast about tomorrow and I hope to continue to expand it," the goalkeeper told Real Madrid's official website.
"I am proud that my name is linked forever with others such as Fernando Alonso, Indurain and Nadal.
"Hopefully I can get to the 500 victories with Real Madrid and continue to give joy to a hobby that deserves everything.
"To me, the fans of Real Madrid are the most sacred, and everything that comes from [them] is very welcome."
