Arsenal's Andrey Arshavin could move to Fulham in the January transfer window.
The Russian has made just one start for Arsenal this season, scoring in the team's recent Capital One Cup victory over League One side Coventry.
With Gunners manager Arsene Wenger admitting that Arshavin is unlikely to feature much due to the high level of competition amongst the team's midfielders, the Daily Express reports the former Zenit St Petersburg player could move across town to Fulham during the transfer window.
Sources in England indicate that Wenger is keen to snap up a world class attacker in January, and must free up space on his wage bill in order to attract players of such calibre. As such, the Frenchman is open to allowing Arshavin to leave on a free transfer to the Cottagers. Fulham manager Martin Jol views Arshavin as a potential replacement to Moussa Dembele, who moved to fellow London side Tottenham in the summer.
31-year old Arshavin turned down a permanent move to Zenit earlier in the year, and it remains to be seen if he will agree a move to Fulham.
