Back in action: She appeared to be having a blast on stage
Shakira has been dating Gerard for around two years although she only confirmed their relationship last year by posting a picture of the pair on twitter and Facebook with a caption reading: 'I present to you my sunshine' [translated from Spanish].
The singer has just signed up to become one of the coaches on the U.S version of The Voice and will replace Christina Aguilera in season four next year.
Christina is taking an entire season off coaching duties so she can concentrate on her music.
