Prunty pounces late to pocket point

Bryan Prunty was the hero for lowly Dumbarton as he netted with less than a minute of normal time remaining to earn his side a 2-2 draw at Raith in the Irn-Bru Scottish First Division

Home side Rovers went ahead when Greig Spence played in Brian Graham to steer home with his left foot on 23 minutes and Spence himself went close to doubling the lead before the break.

But bottom side Dumbarton, who had just a single point to their name coming into the fixture, levelled on 52 minutes when James Lister netted from close range.

Raith went back in front on 69 minutes when an outswinging corner from Allan Walker was flicked on by Simon Mensing and headed home by Spence for 2-1.

But the visitors kept on battling and were rewarded when Prunty bundled the ball home from close range in the 90th minute to secure a point for Alan Adamson's side.
