Bales ... Fergie got them the wrong way around
SIR Alex Ferguson made a pre-match gaffe on Saturday - by mistaking Tottenham star Gareth Bale for Batman actor Christian Bale.
The Manchester United boss got the names the wrong way around in a pre-match interview.
Asked about the threat posed by the North London team, Fergie said: "Of course Christian Bale and Aaron Lennon are both quick players."
But the Spurs winger helped ensure the 70-year-old manager had a dark night - after scoring one goal and setting up another in the 3-2 win.
But the American Psycho and The Fighter actor does have one thing in common with the footballing speedster - he also hails from Wales.
