Carrick’s head-start headache

WARNING ... Michael Carrick
MICHAEL CARRICK admits that Manchester United cannot afford to keep giving their opponents a head start.
The Red Devils have now gone behind in five of their six league games this season, with Tottenham holding on to win 3-2 on Saturday.
And midfielder Carrick, 31, accepts they are giving themselves too much to do.
He said: “It’s not like us and it can’t keep happening. The positive is that we’ve come back to win three of them, so that shows the kind of resilience and character there is in this squad.
“But it’s not ideal. We’ve been making games a lot harder than they should be and it’s something we are looking to put right.”
