Ki Sung-Yueng uses spoon for microphone during Swansea initiation

Ki Sung-Yueng added to his own embarrassment by using a spoon as a pretend microphone during his Swansea City initiation.
New signings are expected to mark their arrival at Swansea by singing for their team-mates.
At most clubs this is a private ritual, but someone rather unhelpfully uploaded a video of Ki's performance to the internet.
It's fair to assume from the footage that the Swans' record signing is not a natural extrovert.
He could hardly have looked more uncomfortable as he stood on a chair in front of his giggling new colleagues.
Ki Sung-Yueng does not have a future career as a pop star
The former Celtic man increased his own awkwardness by insisting on using a spoon as a makeshift microphone as he performed a Korean ballad in hushed tones.
His choice of song seemed to confuse his team-mates, but he eventually managed to get them clapping along.
If the initiation was intended as a test of character, it at least looked like the shy Ki managed to pass.
