Four second-half goals - three in the last eight minutes - saw Osasuna wrap up their first victory of the season as they despatched a poor Levante side 4-0 in La Liga.

Emiliano Armenteros opened the scoring 10 minutes after the break before Roland Lamah (82), a David Timor penalty a minute from time and Nino's injury-time strike wrapped up a resounding victory of which there had been little indication after a poor first half.

Victory guides Osasuna, who started the game bottom with just one point, to 17th while Levante remain 11th.

There was little in the way of chances in the first half.

Levante goalkeeper Gustavo Munua punched clear Timor's free-kick from the right before Juanfran fired over from distance for the visitors.

Munua then parried away Timor's long-range shot and Jose Barkero's left-footed free kick from the right wing was intercepted by Osasuna keeper Andres Fernandez.

As half-time approached there had been nothing to test either keeper, Fernandez comfortably taking Nabil El Zhar's free-kick from the right.

Manuel Lolo fired a free-kick over for Osasuna at the start of the second half and after rarely threatening, the hosts took the lead 10 minutes after the break after a goalmouth scramble.

Alvaro Cejudo's shot from the left of the area hit the post with Emiliano Armenteros' follow-up blocked by Levante defender David Navarro.

However, the striker was not to be denied, shooting home from the six-yard box.

Anthony Annan shot over with the hosts galvanised but the visitors missed a good opening when Navarro sent a weak effort over from the centre of the area.

Obafemi Martins' header was comfortably gathered by Fernandez but the hosts doubled their lead eight minutes from time.

Joseba Llorente's shot was parried by Munua, with Lamah reacting quickest to send the ball into the bottom left-hand corner of the goal.

Osasuna claimed their third with a penalty a minute from time when Timor coolly sent the spot-kick into the bottom left-hand corner after Juanfran fouled Kike Sola.

Nino then slotted home in injury time to give Osasuna a thumping win.
