Marin: Chelsea squad good enough to retain Champions League

Marko Marin believes Chelsea have a good enough squad to win the Premier League – and retain the Champions League.
The Germany star joined the Blues from Werder Bremen in a £7million switch this July, and made his competitive debut in the Blues’ 6-0 Capital One Cup win against Wolves on Tuesday night.
And the 23-year-old claims Roberto Di Matteo’s side are capable of challenging for honours at the end of the season – because they strengthened so well over the summer.
“If you are to win the Premier League and Champions League, you need a lot of quality players,” he said.
"Chelsea have changed a lot since last season and now we have more attractive and offensive players.
"We hope that there are a lot of goals in this team because then it is more difficult for the other teams to play against us."
Chelsea face title rivals Arsenal in Saturday’s crunch Premier League tie, where the Gunners have seemingly recovered from the loss of Robin Van Persie to Manchester United in the transfer window.
But Marin claims Arsene Wenger’s side are yet to face a real test, like they will against the Blues.
"They have a good team but they lost Van Persie, who was the best scorer last season," he went on to say.
"I'm not sure they have played against a good team like us."
