This means the Merseyside star has lost more than £60,000 on the off-roader in just TWO years.

When he ordered the Overfinch, £120,000-a-week Gerrard made sure it was fully loaded with luxuries including TVs, sat-nav, Harmon Kardon sound system and full leather interior.

Under the bonnet is a 3.6-litre, turbocharged V8 diesel engine which develops 271bhp and an enormous 472lb/ft of torque.

This gives the Range Rover a 0-62mph time of 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 124mph.

Overfinch models are a favourite among Premier League footballers with the likes of Wayne Rooney and John Terry both owning them.

Salesman John Verity said: “It’s a lot of car for the money and perfect for a Liverpool or England fan.”
