Arbroath vs Forfar Athletic preview - Still no Hill for Smokies

I have a say

A broken arm will keep Arbroath goalkeeper Darren Hill out of action against visitors Forfar.

Player-manager Paul Sheerin has been pleased with the performances of deputy Scott Morrison, who is set to continue.

He said: "Scott has stepped in and kept two clean sheets in our last two games and you cannot ask for any better than that."

Sheerin has no other injury or suspension worries to content with and added: "We have to be on our guard as Forfar are a good side who have strung together a good run of wins in this league."

"We defeated them 3-2 in a Ramsdens Cup tie recently and a repeat of that result would be good.

"A win and another clean sheet would be even better."

Forfar boss Dick Campbell faces a selection dilemma.

Captain Mark McCulloch is available again after missing out on last weekend's 1-0 success over Brechin City due to work commitments.

The Loons' only injury is to Jamie Bishop with the Station Park chief having a dilemma as Faroe Island defender Odmar Faeroe starred as McCulloch's replacement.

Campbell said: "It is a real challenge for me as Mark is our skipper and was in place as we won three games in a row before dropping out.

"Odmar was terrific last week so it is a tough choice to make."

"We fancy a bit of revenge after a Ramsdens Cup defeat from Arbroath earlier in the season."
