The Dutch defender, who joined the Belgian champions from NEC on transfer deadline day, does not see a reason why his new club cannot cause an upset against the Rossoneri
Bram Nuytinck has claimed that Anderlecht have what it takes to beat a "very different" AC Milan side in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Belgian title holders return to the cream of European club football following a six-year hiatus, and coincidentally faced their forthcoming opponents in their last group-stage appearance, but lost on both occasions.
However, according to their newest recruit from NEC, the Brussels giants have enough quality in their ranks to spring a surprise against the perennial heavyweights, weakened by a mix of high-profile departures and injuries.
"There are opportunities for us," the Netherlands Under-21 defender told Sporza. "With our ability, we can make life very difficult for Milan.
"Without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Antonio Cassano and Clarence Seedorf, they are a very different team from last year, and they also have a number of players injured.
"How will we go about [picking up a result]? That we'll have to discuss, but I think we have to play our own game. We have enough quality."
The action at San Siro gets under way at 20:45CET.
