ARSENE WENGER believes his new-look Arsenal side are an exciting prospect.
Gervinho, Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla shone as the Gunners battered Southampton 6-1.
And with showdowns against Manchester City and Chelsea following Tuesday’s trip to Montpellier, Wenger admitted he is relishing the test.
He said: “There is a positive energy in this team and a desire to play well together so it’s very exciting for us.
“We showed a good combination of pace and speed in our passing.”
Montpellier v Arsenal
What sort of form are Arsenal in?
THEY are looking good. Took Southampton apart and will head to France with confidence.
Have they got any injury worries?
CENTRAL midfielder Abou Diaby is set to return from a hip injury. There are no other concerns.
What can we expect from Montpellier?
A TEAM low on confidence. Lost 3-1 to Reims on Friday and have won only one of five games.
Our big-match verdict
THE Gunners should be too strong for their French opponents and kick off their campaign with an easy win.
