GOOD SIGNS ... Aguero returns to training
SERGIO AGUERO has his sights on a return to Madrid next week.
Manchester City’s title-winning hero was training yesterday after less than a month on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Boss Roberto Mancini feared his record signing could be out for a lengthy spell when he went down in agony on the opening day against Southampton.
But those worries were soon allayed and even a spell with his national team Argentina has not checked his progress.
He tweeted: “Can’t wait to get back.”
A return for City at Stoke this weekend looks a long shot — although the club’s medical staff have yet to rule him out.
But Aguero is keen to make the Champions League opener against Real Madrid next week.
He has fond memories of the Spanish capital as he established himself as a superstar during his five years with Atletico.
