I have a say

Pedro has expressed his satisfaction with Spain's 5-0 friendly defeat of Saudi Arabia on Friday, but assured he would not pressurise national team coach Vicente Del Bosque into using him more often.

The 25-year-old vindicated his boss' faith in starting him with a pair of goals that saw off the Roja's rout, with strikes also coming from club-mates Xavi and David Villa, a collective entirety he is already content at being part of.

"It was a very good team effort that was a joy to watch for supporters," hailed the forward at a press conference. "We are happy with the game and the victory.

"We have a strong group, where anyone is qualified to do a good job. Vicente Del Bosque decides who to field. I will do all I can in training, and if I am given the opportunity to play, I will take it.

"Yesterday, mostly fringe players played, yet I thought it was a good match. We have many important players."

Spain must now travel to Tbilisi for their upcoming World Cup 2012 qualifier against Georgia on Tuesday.
