Arsene Wenger warns Prem: Watch out for Arsenal

ARSENE WENGER last night warned Arsenal’s rivals: Don’t write us off.
The Gunners go to Liverpool tomorrow for a fixture rich in tradition but with little expected from either team just two weeks into the season.
Wenger said: “You never expect much from us I must say. We always have a good potential to surprise you.
“If I listen to the predictions last year on the same day, we were predicted to finish 10-15 and we finished third.
“With Liverpool, always, there are a lot of expectations but what happens now is you also have Chelsea, Man United and Man City.”
Arsenal have yet to score a goal while Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet from two games each.
Brendan Rodgers lost his first game as Kop boss 3-0 at West Brom and was instantly installed as favourite to be first top-flight manager sacked.
Wenger said: “That tells you a lot about modern emotional society. There are instant reactions on every single media. You have it for Twitter, direct chat on radio, reaction on the internet.
“I think always it is better to think about it before you say something.”
Wenger admits September will be a defining month for Arsenal with games against Manchester City and Chelsea after tomorrow’s trip to Anfield.
Wenger added: “How well you do against big teams decides your end position in the table.”
