UP FOR IT ... Cristiano Ronaldo is ready for glory
CRISTIANO RONALDO reckons Real Madrid can go all the way to Wembley in the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho’s La Liga giants have been drawn in Group D alongside Premier League champions Manchester City, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.
It is already being labelled the ‘Group of Death’ but Real forward Ronaldo still expects to be lining up in London on May 25.
He said: “We are ready. We are champions of Spain and we are ready to compete with anybody.
“In my opinion the best teams in the world are Real Madrid and Barcelona.”
But Ronaldo, who will make his first return to Manchester since leaving United for £80million in July 2009, admitted Group D was the toughest.
The Portugal star, beaten by Barca ace Andres Iniesta to UEFA’s Best Player in Europe award for last season, said: “It’s pretty difficult.
“And I am sure the opinion of most people is that it is the most competitive group of the lot.”
