Ayr vs Forfar preview - Twaddle hopes for debut

Ayr have signed former Partick and Falkirk defender Marc Twaddle and he could make his debut against Forfar if clearance comes through from Rochdale.
The Honest Men have Jonathan Tiffoney suspended, Martyn Campbell is a major doubt and Ryan McStay is out with a knock as they look to secure their first three-point haul of the season.
Player-manager Mark Roberts said: "Our performance in losing at Arbroath was better than the 4-2 scoreline would suggest. We are still making some unfortunate errors at the back that are being punished severely.
"As a team we do need to defend better at set-pieces starting in this one against a Forfar side that are very dangerous."
Meanwhile, Forfar boss Dick Campbell reckons he will be creating history by not starting with new signing Odmar Faeroe from B36 Torshavn.
Campbell is sticking with the side that dismantled Stranraer 4-0 last weekend meaning the Faroe Islands Under-21 international defender will be on the bench at best.
That left Campbell quipping: "I must be the first manager of Forfar who has not picked a player who was playing in the Champions League recently."
The Station Park boss added: "There is no need to make any changes and after the performance against Stranraer it would not be the right thing to do. Odmar will get his chance soon enough but it will be the same again for what will be a tough match at Ayr."
