I have a say

Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni has called defender Maicon 'the best in the world' but remains tight-lipped on whether the player will remain at San Siro.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move to European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Real Madrid, though he has been included in the squad to face Vaslui in the Europa League playoffs this week.

Nevertheless, Stramaccioni has refused to comment specifically on the transfer situation regarding the fullback, instead revealing that there would be transfer activity to come.

"In my view, Maicon is the best in the world, but obviously there are different evaluations to be made, as there is more than just fondness or monetary value," the young manager told Sky Italia. "All of Inter cares about the Brazilian, as he is a fantastic lad. We'll have to see what happens. This Inter side does need to be completed, that is beyond doubt.

"Something will certainly happen before Aug. 31. In fact, I'd say before Aug. 26."
