Arsenal striker reiterates exit intentions

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has reiterated his desire to leave the club, admitting that he will not be happy until he has left the Emirates Stadium.

Bendtner, who came through the ranks at Arsenal, has struggled to attain consistency since making his first-team debut in 2005 and spent last season on loan at Sunderland.

Despite managing 112 appearances during the three seasons prior to his stint at Sunderland, the
Denmark international is not expected to feature regularly next term after the arrivals of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

And the 24-year-old realises that his time at the club is up, revealing that he is desperate to leave Arsenal.

He told Danish news site Sporten.dk: "I do not think about the money, I just want to be happy. I want to leave Arsenal."

Serie A side AC Milan, who are looking for a tall forward after selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris St-Germain, are thought to be interested in the forward, and could offer defender Philippe Mexes to Arsenal in a part-exchange deal.
