Napoli storm off after Juve loss

Napoli refused to watch Juventus receive the Italian Super Cup trophy in Beijing yesterday after losing to the Bianconeri 4-2 after extra time.
Goran Pandev, Juan Zuniga and coach Walter Mazzarri were all shown red cards toward the end of a dramatic match, and the Neapolitans were in no mood to even pick up their runners-up medals after the final whistle.
Instead, they returned immediately to the dressing room and made an announcement via their website that they would "not be participating in the awards ceremony nor making any declarations".
Juventus were more forthcoming about their first victory of the season, with coach Massimo Carrera dedicating the trophy to Antonio Conte, the man he is replacing on a temporary basis while last season's Serie A-winning coach is suspended.
"The first thought goes to the coach (Conte)," said Carrera. "We showed that we are all united and we are all pulling in the same direction and we know where we want to go."
Juve's match-winner Mirko Vucinic, who earnt a penalty then scored the final goal, was disappointed that Napoli boycotted the ceremony.
Napoli defeated Juventus in the Coppa Italia final back in May, "but we remained on the field and applauded them," said Vucinic on his club's website.
