A source said: “It was mentioned that David might be a bit uncomfortable seeing this dancer against Victoria.

“He commented on their ‘moves’, which will be aired to more than a billion people.

“However, it was explained that although the dancer is very hot he wouldn’t be interested in Victoria as he plays for ‘the other team’.”

It is believed the Beckham kids have a small role when the Spice Girls perform a medley of their greatest hits at tomorrow’s ceremony.

Brooklyn, 13, nine-year-old Romeo and Cruz, six, are expected on to the stage with their mum with David and Harper.

The boys also met police officers at the Olympic Park yesterday.

Designer Victoria, 38, has overseen the design for the band’s costumes on the night.
