Tottenham are being linked with a move for Partizan Belgrade midfielder Mohamed Kamara, thanks to European football aficionado Avram Grant.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Grant who was manager of the Serbian club last season, has been giving Spurs chairman Daniel Levy glowing reports about the defensive midfielder.
Although Grant endured a disastrous time at West Ham he is still a respected figure in the game after guiding Partizan to the Serbian title and taking Chelsea to a within a whisker of Champions League glory during his Stamford Bridge tenure.
Spurs already have Scott Parker, Sandro and emerging talent Jake Livermore in the position Kamara favours but, with Andre Villas Boas listed as head coach, the purchasing of players may be left to a higher power at White Hart Lane.
